‘Arthur’ is our professionally converted VW Crafter Expedition Campervan. He is very economical, easy to drive and great fun whether you are travelling through cities or countryside.

Our vans are designed to maximise space and comfort. ‘Arthur’ has a toilet and an internal as well as external shower. Some of the other features include a towbar, pop-up roof, external lighting, Bluetooth and hands-free technology. There is a smart TV in the back of the vehicle which can be viewed from the seating area or the main bed.

Blackout blinds are fitted on all windows to provide extra privacy and we have added a thermostatic night heater so this vehicle can be used all year round without the worry of feeling the cold.

There are four seatbelts, room for three people to sit at the front and one in the rear, all with fitted three-point seatbelts. The seats are comfortable and perfect for relaxing. Isofix is not fitted in our campervans.

Numerous USB and electrical sockets can be found around the vehicle with plenty of storage available. This vehicle is designed for both short and long trips so is capable of touring Europe with enough space to take everything you need. It is fitted with all terrain tyres.

As this is an off-grid campervan it has a large battery bank and solar panel system. Whether you are touring or parking up for a few days you should not need to worry about running out of power or having to plug in. On average you can expect up to five days in Winter and longer in Summer without needing to charge the batteries. Additional mains hook up lead is provided in case necessary.

The kitchen area contains a small table and is fitted with a fridge-freezer, sink with hot and cold running water and a two-burner gas hob. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

A double bed is at the rear along with a high-quality orthopedic memory foam mattress. The roof can be raised to access an additional bed that is large enough to sleep either two children or one adult.

There is an awning that can be used when stationary enabling you to enjoy the outside space and scenery. The garage section is equipped with power and lighting as well as running water for cleaning off bikes or pets. This can also be used as an external shower to use after a day at the beach. There is enough room to hold four adult size bikes to ensure they are kept safe overnight or when travelling.
