Welcome to Bob - my red Campervan.

This is a 6m VANTourer 600D from 2021 with 140HP and a manual gear box.

A Campervan is just handy enough for the cities but on demand you can drive faster with a not too high consumption. With less than 3.500 kg there are no further restrictions regarding drivers licenses, toll roads, speed limits etc.

In addition to the height-adjustable transverse bed in the rear, the opening roof offers 2 additional beds for a total of 4 people. Both beds are approx. 140cm x 190cm and have comfortable mattresses and a thick topper on top. Pillows and bedding are already prepared.

My VANTourer is equipped with everything you need for your journey.

Come to Cologne and bring your suitcase with your personal travel items. If necessary I'll pick you up from the airport (for free of course), you get into the Campervan and start your journey. Maybe all the way to Porto / Portugal?

I can offer you ONE-WAY RENTALS to Portugal, too. The exact availability depends on existing bookings however and needs to be arranged together.

There are no extra options to be booked, and no hidden fees whatsoever.

• The rear seats have Isofix anchorages, on request I can equip them with child seats.

• The kitchen has two gas hobs, a compressor fridge with almost 100l and a freezer. It is further equipped with pots, crockery, cutlery, cups, (wine) glasses, spices, oil, vinegar, detergent, etc.

• The bathroom has a shower which extends across the aisle and a chemical toilet. Towels are of course part of the equipment.

• A gasoline heating provides with warm air and water and the water tanks are isolated and/or heated so that the car is prepared to be used at low temperatures.

• Independence for a few days is guaranteed by the large 200Ah lithium-ion battery and an inverter for 230V with 2000W continuous output. A coffee machine - which is part of the equipment -, a hair dryer or a notebook can be operated without shore power. A foldable solar bag can ensure a full battery on sunny days and thus further extend self-sufficiency.

• A Bose Soundlink sound system can be accessed via Bluetooth and plays your music over the phone or the tablet.

• A Weber Q1000 gas grill is on board and can be connected to the existing gas bottle used for the kitchen.

• You’ll find comfortable camping chairs and a camping table as well as a retractable sunshade.

• A bike rack on the rear door can transport 2 bikes, e-bikes are unfortunately too heavy.

• A fire extinguisher and a fire blanket as well as a flashlight are also essential for safe travel.

The ready-to-drive weight of Bob is approx. 3.150 kg. Ready to drive means including the driver, full diesel and AdBlue tanks, approx. 50l water, the bicycle rack, the grill, the gas bottle and all other (camping) equipment. This results in an effective payload of approx. 350 kg.

Before returning Red Bob I’d like to ask you to

• refuel with Diesel and AdBlue

• empty and clean the chemical toilet

• empty the grey water tank

• do a cleaning of the interior
